The Training & Development Specialist is responsible for increasing the knowledge and assisting in the development of a strong service culture amongst our internal team. This position will be responsible for designing and delivering content to all members of the operations team. Additionally, this position will train clients as necessary to support the operations team.


  • Responsible for design, delivery and continuous improvement of our training program for both new hires and existing team members.
  • Review and update onboarding training for new employees; including classroom time, exercises to test for knowledge and real-life scenario work.
  • Design, develop and implement an on-going weekly training plan for service, implementation, and tax.
  • Partner with Managers and Supervisors across the company to analyze, assess, identify, create, and deliver training needed.
  • Develop a library of training job aids including process documents, training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, video, and scripting tutorials in order to make training effective and repeatable.
  • Coordinating administrative functions necessary to deliver and document training programs.
  • Track execution of training conducted and evaluate effectiveness of training and development programs through utilizing relevant data. Revise or recommend changes and improvements.
  • Deliver all iSolved training requirements, account set up, office systems, payroll fundamentals, and other specific trainings that might apply to new hires.
  • Serve as an ongoing resource for new hires on questions related to iSolved.
  • Serve as a resource for the team when they need to educate/train clients in iSolved and other Products specific topics. This can involve creating content or partnering in the delivery.
  • Create content and coach internal teammates on a range of technical, operational, and/or management areas in iSolved.
  • Work with Marketing to create iSolved specific content and communications.
  • Continue to develop and find creative ways to identify training needs and effectiveness of clients including individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings, and workshops.
  • Partner in delivering product training to clients as needed, individual demos, webinars, etc.
  • Partner with Managers if a client issue arises that requires training to complete resolution.
  • Stay abreast of product and process updates.
  • Lead team through iSolved releases and participate in testing.


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • 3+ years experience in Training, including both content creation and delivery
  • Experience in HCM and payroll. iSolved experience preferred.
  • Ability to effectively teach technology quickly through multiple mediums, including face to face, webinars and video.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing to ensure effective transfer of training material.
  • Excellent time management skills, and ability to meet deadlines, prioritize and manage several tasks effectively.
  • Outstanding customer service skills are required, and SaaS experience preferred.
  • Attention to detail & results oriented.
