This isn't a typical BDR role. If you've been in this role before you know what that means. 100+ calls per day, a "revolving door" team, cold leads, no upside, etc. MassPay has worked hard to develop a program with great growth upside, a strategic approach to lead gen, a positive team environment, and a unique compensation plan that provides BDR's with a percentage of closed business they set up.

Moreover, we will provide candidates with an opportunity to build their own path, with our support. This is the perfect position for someone who is driven, creative, and wants to challenge themselves. You will be a part of a team built from the ground up and given the chance to grow and advance with your teammates.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Effectively cold call leads to generate interest in MassPay and generate meetings
  • Call warmer leads that express interest in MassPay to generate meetings
  • Find new leads derived from lists, referrals and advertising programs
  • Strategize with your team to create the most effective plan to reach prospects
  • Follow up with leads who have been contacted in the past
  • Research prospects and find the best way to get in touch with them to share who we are and what we do
  • Conduct initial qualification of leads based on brief discussion
  • Set appointments with new leads for Business Development Managers
  • Use email to correspond with leads to follow up and/or to confirm appointments
  • Use Salesforce.com and Apollo.io to capture information regarding leads as well as facilitate lead flow to others in the sales process
  • Participate in team hiring initiatives as new team members are brought on board including interviewing and selection input.
  • Onboard new SDRs.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Local candidates preferred but open to considering an experienced star appointment setter who can run with the job remotely. If remote, prior Cold Calling and Salesforce experience preferred.
